Contact the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Foundation at 323-361-2308 or foundation@chla.usc.edu. Please indicate if you would like to be removed from fundraising mailings, hospital marketing communications, specific mailings, or all CHLA communications.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1967. Donations are tax-deductible under Federal Tax ID 95-1690977.

Questions About the Hospital
Can I cheer up your patients by visiting them in the hospital?
The hospital’s infection control guidelines prevent us from accommodating requests from the public to visit or deliver items to our patients in person. However, we offer many other ways to help our patients.
How can I donate items to the hospital?
There are a few types of items you can donate:
Miscellaneous Items and Cars

Toys
To find out what toys our patients need during the holidays and all year round, please visit the online gift registry for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. From here you can easily purchase gifts online and have them sent directly to the hospital.

Please note that infection control guidelines may prevent us from accepting handmade items for patients. You can contact the hospital’s Volunteer Services department at volunteers@chla.usc.edu to see if we can accept your items.
How can I fundraise for CHLA?
Please visit our Online Fundraising Center where you can start your own online fundraising page with all proceeds directly benefitting CHLA. You can start a page for any occasion, in honor or memory of someone special, or in support of one of our causes.
I’d like to host a fundraising event. How do I get started?
If you would like to hold a community fundraising event or create an online fundraising page benefiting CHLA, please review the guidelines and FAQs on our Online Fundraising Center site and submit an application. Once our Special Events department receives the application, they will contact you with next steps.
