- Care and training from experts: CHLA clinicians have advanced training and are recognized experts in their fields. Our specialists even provide education to other physicians in the community. For example, we can guide pediatricians regarding what types of hormonal changes to look for in patient labs and when to make referrals.
- Comprehensive fellowship experience: Fellows benefit from our location in the diverse community of Los Angeles, both in terms of ethnic diversity and in the variety of conditions we treat. Fellows receive a well-rounded, comprehensive experience with time spent in clinical care as well as endocrinology research.
Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship
For nearly 30 years, we have trained fellows in excellent endocrinology and diabetes care. Fellows also have opportunities to collaborate with multiple divisions throughout the hospital, such as those in the Heart Institute or Neuro-Oncology Program.
Each year, we accept two endocrinology fellows. We are among only a few programs in the country that offer a three-year pediatric endocrinology fellowship. Learn more about our endocrinology fellowship.
