Emergency Department
Space in our Emergency Department (ED) is limited due to a high demand for services. Please seek treatment in our ED only for serious illnesses and injuries.
- For minor symptoms, call your primary care provider.
- Use our Symptom Checker to get health care support 24/7.
- Please do not visit our Emergency Department for COVID-19 testing. Click here to find COVID testing sites.
The Division of Emergency and Transport provides 24-hour attending coverage in the Emergency Department. Care is provided by pediatric emergency medicine physicians.
Attending Staff
Our attending staff is a young, energetic group of physicians dedicated to the teaching and supervision of:
- Medical students
- Residents
- Pediatric emergency medicine fellows
All attendings are board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
Allied Health Professionals
Clinical services are aided by the presence of full-time social workers and interpreters. Pediatric residents from our hospital, as well as from five other pediatric, emergency medicine and family practice residency programs, rotate through the Department each year.
