The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Children’s Hospital has been serving the Los Angeles community for more than a century. We are honored to have earned the trust of children, families and team members of different cultures, beliefs and backgrounds.
Given the ever-growing diversity of our service area—which now spans the globe—we have formalized these efforts by creating the Office of Diversity of Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Meet our team.

We are increasing diversity to better appreciate the identities, backgrounds and experiences of the people we employ and patients we care for. Identifying differences is not enough. We strive to understand unique points of view and eliminate bias.

We are building a culture of belonging that transcends race, national origin, ability, gender identity and other factors. These efforts will help all patients, visitors and team members feel welcome and respected.
