Dr. Etesami is the surgical director of kidney and associate surgical director of liver transplantation at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. He is an assistant professor of clinical surgery in the division of Hepatopancreaticobiliary Surgery and Abdominal Organ Transplantation at the Keck School of Medicine of USC.

Dr. Etesami specializes in adult and pediatric liver, bowel, kidney and pancreas transplantation. His medical interests include the expansion of organ availability and transplantation with a focus on living donation and split liver transplantation.

He is an active member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and is an associate fellow with the American College of Surgeons.
