The Division of Pain Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles provides comprehensive care to a diverse patient population of children with acute and chronic pain. Our interdisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, advanced practice providers, nurses and acupuncturists offers holistic care in in a supportive, compassionate environment.
Our one-year ACGME-accredited Pain Medicine fellowship is dedicated to training the next generation of pain medicine physician leaders. We offer an opportunity to achieve excellent clinical skills, leadership skills and personal growth.

About the Pediatric Pain Medicine Fellowship
As one of the largest Pediatric Pain Medicine programs in the country, we are uniquely positioned to offer a comprehensive educational experience to fellows. Our program serves a diverse patient population with extensive resources including outpatient clinics, an interventional program, integrative health and our Inpatient Pain Rehabilitation Program. Fellows also provide patient care at the Cedars Sinai Pain Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and participate in conferences, workshops and lectures.

Rotations
The one-year clinical training program includes the following rotations:
- CHLA Pain Medicine Clinic: 6 months
- Cedars-Sinai Pain Clinic: 6 months
- Subspecialty Rotations at CHLA:
- Neurology
- Outpatient clinics in electrodiagnostic studies, movement disorders and primary neurology
- Physical medicine
- Outpatient clinic and inpatient services focused on evaluation and management of acute and chronic functionally disabled patients including the inpatient pain rehabilitation program
- Radiology
- Reading and interpretation of various imaging modalities relevant to pain medicine
- Palliative medicine
- Inpatient consultation service consisting of daily inpatient rounds and clinical case conferences
- Adolescent medicine
- Psychiatry and addiction medicine rotations in outpatient clinic settings
- Neurology
