There is currently a lack of information on critical questions surrounding laterality of ureteropelvic junction obstruction (UPJO), the difference between extrinsic and intrinsic obstruction, the utility of retrograde pyelogram, and the appropriate management for patients with concurrent UPJO and ureterovesical junction obstruction (UVJO).
