Nariman Muci, MSN, APRN, PPCNP-BC, CPHON, CPN
Since I was a child, I had an interest in the healthcare field. I eventually gravitated towards wanting to work in pediatrics and in 2007, I became an RN. I began my journey in pediatric oncology while working at Baptist Children's Hospital in Miami, FL. My passion for this population grew and I eventually became the first Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse in the hospital's history. I obtained my MSN in Nursing Education in 2013 and then further advanced my graduate degree when I become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2015. My experience in oncology grew when I began my NP career in 2016 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in the Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. From 2018 to 2021, I explored different avenues of nursing which eventually led me to my time here at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where I manage hospitalized children who are undergoing chemotherapy treatments and/or receiving supportive care.
I feel so proud to work at CHLA and am privileged to be a part of the patient and their family's journey during what can be described as the toughest time in their lives. Every day when I walk into work, I aim to make an impact on their day and hope to make a difference whether big or small.
