Jeffrey Birnbaum, MD

Dr. Birnbaum grew up in Parkland, Florida and is a proud alumnus of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. He studied biomedical engineering at Duke University before attending medical school at Emory University. Following this, he completed his pediatrics residency and pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

His clinical interests include the development of clinical decision support tools to help busy emergency medicine providers utilize the most up to date, evidence-based protocols. He also enjoys advocating for the health and safety of his patients both in his community and more broadly by working to influence health policy.

In his free time, he enjoys going on adventures with his beautiful wife and their two dachshunds, Scrappy-Doo and Hamburgers.
