Initial exposure to cardiac surgery was primarily with the adult population. Then spent time as RN in NICU and PICU where again exposed to my first love of caring for cardiac patients. I moved and started working at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and have remained for the last 36 years, 30 of which as an NP in the CT surgery department. I have never felt as supported in my professional endeavors than working here at CHLA.
