About the Speaker
Jonathan Mansbach MD, MPH graduated from Haverford College, Duke Medical School, and has been at Boston Children’s since internship. He is now the Chief of the Children’s Hospital Inpatient Service (CHIPS) and Associate Chief of General Pediatrics. He conducts NIH funded translational research examining bronchiolitis, respiratory viruses, the airway microbiome, viral-bacterial interactions, and the transition from bronchiolitis to asthma. He has extended this interest to the pathobiology of acute respiratory infections in children with a tracheostomy and home ventilation. He is married with two children and a golden retriever puppy. He enjoys playing competitive soccer, skiing, and traveling.
