For the workshops at 11:00am and 11:30am, each participant can choose 2 from the 3 selections below (all sessions will be offered twice). Choose your selections upon registration.
- Myth Busters: Medication Concerns and Side Effects • STAUFFER A ROOM
- Led by: Dr. Meagan Hughes and Dr. Nicole Harter, CHLA Division of Dermatology
- Dr. Harter and Dr. Hughes will discuss common misconceptions regarding topical steroids among other medications.
- Food Allergies and Eczema: Ask the Allergist • DALE HERKLOTZ ROOM
- Led by: Dr. Jonathan Tam and Dr. Melinda Braskett, CHLA Gores Family Allergy Center
- Dr. Tam and Dr. Braskett will be available for your questions regarding food allergies during this informal session.
- When No One is Sleeping: Coping with the Stressors of Eczema • HOLDEN ROOM
- Led by: Dr. Jennifer Hershfield and Dr. Peck Ong, CHLA Gores Family Allergy Center
- Dr. Hershfield and Dr. Ong will discuss family stress surrounding eczema and promote strategies for coping.
