USC Funding Databases

Pivot Community of Science
USC offers the CHLA/USC research community access to the Pivot Community of Science, a comprehensive database of sponsored research opportunities across all fields, including the sciences, humanities, and arts. Pivot/COS includes federal and non-federal sources, including foundations. It allows search for faculty by expertise and key areas of research and allows funding opportunities to be matched to individual faculty. Automatic notifications on opportunities can be created. It can be accessed by using a valid USC IP address or by setting up an account here.

The Keck School Office of Research Advancement provides information on opportunities for internal research funding and institutionally-limited grants as well as grant proposal development services and university research support services. External funding ensures that faculty can conduct creative research, train and support graduate students and make breakthrough discoveries.

The SC CTSI funding opportunities webpage provides a listing of clinical and translational pilot awards, academic community partnership pilot awards, career development awards, technology awards and a team building incubator award.
USC Dornsife Internal Research Funding
The USC Dornsife College of Letters and Sciences maintains a portal to connect the USC research community to funding databases and other opportunities.
