Fontan Non-Newtonian Behavior IRB CHLA-18-00379 Evaluation of non-Newtonian behavior in the Fontan circulation To evaluate the impact of non-Newtonian behavior on hemodynamic efficiency in children and young adults who have undergone the Fontan procedure. Study Details Time commitment/Requirements 1. Cardiac MRI visit: about 3 hours. Requires a contrast agent to better visualize blood vessels. 2. Stress test: about 1 hour. Keywords fontan Study Type Observational Eligibility 1. Univentricular congenital heart disease that has been surgically palliated with the Fontan procedure. 2. Medical care provided at the Heart Institute of CHLA or affiliated practices. 3.
