Michele Roland, MD
Michele Roland, MD is a board-certified physician in both Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Roland has served as an attending physician within the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since 1989. She is the current Physician Coordinator of the Los Angeles Job Corp Center (LAJCC) and has over twenty-five years of experience developing, implementing, supervising, and providing direct medical services to adolescents and young adults within diverse institutional settings. In addition to her work at the LAJCCC, Dr. Roland currently provides medical care onsite at Vista Del Mar, a residential program for youth with serious mental health and/or substance use disorders, as well as youth placed by the Departments of Children and Family Services and/or Probation; at the Division’s Teenage and Young Adult Health Center at CHLA; and at CHLA’s weekly Spina Bifida Clinic. Dr. Roland has a special interest and expertise in treating youth with chronic illness and other special health care needs.
