Erin Delfosse, MSN, APRN, CPNP-PC
I am a pediatric nurse practitioner, board certified in pediatric primary care and pediatric orthopedics. My passion for nursing and medicine began at a very young age and was sparked by the numerous fond stories told by my grandmother of her time as a labor and delivery nurse. I received my bachelor’s and master's degrees in nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing in New York, New York, and I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
I began my career as a nurse practitioner in June 2014 in the field of pediatric orthopedics serving the population of Los Angeles, CA at the Orthopedic Institute for Children (OIC). During my time in OIC, I became an expert in the field and was the sole provider for a pediatric orthopedic urgent care, where I provided comprehensive assessment, radiologic interpretation, and treatment planning and completion for nearly all forms of musculoskeletal emergencies or chronic disorders. I continued my practice in orthopedics at CHOC Children’s Hospital in Orange County, CA in June 2019. I have a passion for teaching and was named an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the UCI School of Nursing from September 2020-December 2020 and am an ongoing guest lecturer for the UCLA School of Nursing since 2022.
I joined the CHLA family in April 2021, expanding my scope of practice in the new specialty, as a member of the pediatric surgery service and the nurse practitioner of the Vascular Anomalies Center multidisciplinary team. I currently provide outpatient and inpatient coverage for children and adults with vascular anomalies. I have now developed a passion for the field of vascular anomalies and have research interest in the specialty.
On a personal note, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, baking, camping, cycling, and tap dancing.
