I have always been drawn to the pediatric kidney transplant population as my entire bedside nursing career was spent working with kidney transplant patients before becoming a nurse practitioner. By being part of this program, I am able to witness true gratitude and joy from families and patients after they receive a new transplant. I feel so fortunate to be able to be a part of their story.
