Alexander Van Speybroeck MD/MPH is an attending pediatrician in the Division of General Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He is also medical Director of the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Spina Bifida Program, and Co-Director Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Residency Program Global Health IMPACT Tract Program.

He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics.

Dr. Van Speybroeck has an additional pediatrics practice caring for Children with Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy and Cerebral Palsy at Shriners Hospital for Children, Los Angeles. Van Speybroeck has been active in Global Health Care since 1998 serving in medical missions in Mexico, Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Mongolia, Viet Nam and Guatemala. Van Speybroeck has been active on a national and local level related to the care of Children with Spina Bifida as a member, lecturer and researcher for the national Spina Bifida Association and US Centers for Disease Control Center on Birth Defects.
