My Child's Treatment

Our Division treats approximately 62,000 infants, children, and adolescents each year.

Approximately half of these children are treated by Kids Care, our special urgent care unit. The other half are treated for severe illness or critical injury in our Emergency Department.

As a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, we are one of 12 hospitals in the nation providing the hghest level of emergency care for children.  Our specialized trauma team consists of Emergency and Critical Care physicians and nurses, surgeons and ancillary personnel.

We are also designated as a Pediatric Critical Care Center, a designation that signifies our ability to provide emergency and critical care for ill and injured patients from infancy through adolescence.
