Ashwin Adarkar

Ashwin Adarkar became a member of the Board of Trustees in January 2011.  He serves on the Investment Committee.

Ashwin is Partner and Managing Director of The Boston Consulting Group in Los Angeles, where he has served since 2008 and leads the West Coast Financial Institutions Practice.  Ashwin previously worked at IndyMac Bank, serving in a number of positions including CEO of IndyMac’s Consumer Bank.  Prior to joining IndyMac, he was a Partner with McKinsey & Company, where he led its West Coast Financial Services and Health Care Practices and its Global Business Process Outsourcing Practice and established McKinsey’s practice in India. 

Ashwin received his BA in Economics in 1986 from Stanford University. He received his MS in Industrial Engineering in 1987 and his MBA in 1992, both degrees from Stanford University.
