| Natalia Uribe, OD oversees the Contact Lens Program in The Vision Center at Children's Hospital Los Angeles and was a research optometrist within the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. After receiving her doctor of optometry, she then completed her residency in contact lenses at the La Salle University in Bogotá, Colombia, and a diplomate in ocular health and primary care at Saint Thomas University. Dr. Uribe is a member of the International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) and Colombian Federation of Optometry. Since her move to the United States in 2000, Dr. Uribe has investigated various research projects regarding health and eye problems of children in Los Angeles known as the Multi-Ethnic Pediatric Eye Disease Study (MEPEDS) and with the Hispanic community through the Los Angeles Latino Eye Study (LALES) in the Keck School of Medicine. |
