Honor Someone Special
When making a $10 minimum gift in honor of a friend or loved one, a unique and meaningful card will be sent to notify them of your thoughtful gesture.
To make your gift, simply use our online donation form. Make sure to select the option "To Make This Gift a Tribute Donation" and provide your honoree's information. The amount of your gift will not be mentioned, however, a separate receipt will be sent to you.
Donate Blood or Platelets
As the winter holidays focus on gift-purchasing activities and fun with family and friends, the blood banks become very low at Children's Hospital. A blood transfusion or platelet donation can save a life and make a significant contribution to patients this holiday season. Make an appointment to donate blood.
Purchase Holiday Card Inserts
Show family, friends and business associates you care this holiday season by making a donation in their honor. These festive inserts are a meaningful addition to include in your holiday cards. Purchase Greeting Cards
Patient art is created each year through the Mark Taper-Johnny Mercer Artists In Residence Program. Holiday cards featuring this artwork can be purchased online. Browse the greeting card options or make a holiday purchase.
Sponsor a Holiday Party for Patients
Brighten the spirits of young hospital patients during the holidays by sponsoring a patient party. Each party benefits as many as 200 children, from toddlers to teens. Costs to underwrite a holiday party that incorporates the medical needs of patients are $3,500. As a sponsor, you will be invited to join in the festivities. Donate Toys
The hospital delivers toys to lift the spirits of patients, made possible through individual donations and community toy drives. Call 323-361-2371 to schedule a time to deliver your donation or to coordinate a toy drive. A Toy List has been provided to help make appropriate selection for patients.
Sponsor Holiday Gifts for Patient Families in Need
Members of the social work staff consistently identify families of patients in need during the holidays. These families often have chronically ill or injured children receiving care at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
