Quin Liu, MD

Dr. Liu is a board certified pediatric gastroenterologist in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at The Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.  He is the Director of GI Endoscopy and also participates in national multicenter research studies and committees.

Clinical Interests

Pediatric therapeutic and advanced endoscopy, including ERCP, EUS, and deep balloon enteroscopy.  Dr. Liu also specializes in pediatric pancreatic and biliary diseases such as chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic insufficiency.

Research

Current research in pediatric ERCP, capsule endoscopy, and pediatric pancreatitis.  Dr. Liu is currently involved in the Pediatric ERCP Database Initiative (PEDI) and the International Study Group of Pediatric Pancreatitis: In Search for a Cure (INSPPIRE) consortium.
