Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics

Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Program

OVERVIEW

The Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) Program is the largest board-certified program in Southern California. Our developmental-behavioral pediatricians integrate multiple perspectives to create a complete and holistic understanding of your child’s strengths and challenges. They also assist primary caregivers to understand and appreciate your child’s behavior in relationship to his or her overall development.

Through the DBP Program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, your child may be connected to a wide range of specialists who are able to address collectively the unique health needs of each individual child with developmental and behavioral issues. Care coordinated by the DBP Program may include treatment planning, behavioral medication management, and recommendations for further assessment or additional therapeutic strategies.
