LA Street Smarts
LA Street Smarts is a hands-on interactive neighborhood that helps children learn, as they walk through the portable set, the best way to stay safe while playing in or near the street.
Kohl's Safety and Injury Prevention Program
In partnership with Kohl’s Cares for Kids, the Kohl’s Safety and Injury Prevention Program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles provides safety education, and equipment for children and families in local communities.
Bicycle, Car Seat and Safety Belt Safe Campaign
 Our Community Outreach Program, with generous support provided by Kohl’s Department Stores, provides the following services for children in our community:

car seat and booster seat checks
Bicycle Helmet Checks
We provide bicycle helmets to those who do not have one or are unable to afford one. Each child is measured for an appropriate-sized helmet and parents are educated on how to adjust the helmet as their child grows.
Car Seat and Booster Seat Checks Car seat and booster seat checks are done at numerous health fairs throughout the County. Cr seats as well as booster seats are supplied when families cannot afford one.
