Rheumatology

The Division of Rheumatology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is the largest and most comprehensive pediatric rheumatology program in the western United States. The Division addresses the immediate need for access to the very best pediatric rheumatology care for thousands of children and their families in California, Nevada and other neighboring states by combining excellence in clinical care, research and fellowship training.

Our doctors treat rheumatic diseases including juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, scleroderma, vasculitis and a wide array of inflammatory and degenerative eye diseases.

The treatment team consists of six full-time pediatric rheumatologists, who are supported by a nurse coordinator, clinical social worker, research study coordinator, designated occupational and physical therapists and other support staff.
