Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is ranked sixth in the nation for orthopaedic care on the U.S. News & World Report Best Children's Hospitals List. With one of the nation’s most comprehensive programs just for kids, specialists at the Children’s Orthopaedic Center perform everything from spinal fusion procedures for complex spinal deformities to mending simple fractures with brightly colored casts.
The center provides a multispecialty team of orthopaedic surgeons, orthopaedic nurses, physician assistants, oncologists, rehabilitation experts, prosthetists, physical therapists and biomedical engineers that work together to treat kids better. Parents also are closely involved in our approach to treatment.
BROKEN BONES
Children's Hospital Los Angeles is a Level 1 trauma center. Our doctors at the Children's Orthopedic Center are specialists in treating bone fractures, injuries and deformities in children of all ages.
Bone issues in children require special consideration physically and emotionally. We offer a supportive environment, comforting kids before, during, and after care for their injury.
MOTION ANALYSIS
Our motion analysis laboratory is the only advanced lab of its kind in Los Angeles for children and teens.
 We carefully test and study the gait of our patients to guide decisions about surgical care. This allows us to fine-tune and personalize our surgical strategy for each child.
