Mona Desai, MPH

I am the Senior Research and Evaluation Manager in the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. In this capacity, I oversee several community-based evaluation research projects on interventions for youth and families living in high-risk environments. I have implemented mixed method needs assessments and research projects with homeless and runaway youth, pregnant and parenting teens, young men who have sex with men, and other at risk youth populations. I have experience in qualitative and quantitative research, including the development of data collection protocols, the design of data collection instruments, tracking process data, data analysis, and am skilled at disseminating project results to diverse groups of stakeholders. I also monitor fidelity to intervention protocols and provide technical assistance in a variety of projects.
