Michelle SooHoo, PhD

Michelle SooHoo, PhD, is a licensed psychologist within the Division of Urology at CHLA. She conducts research and provides clinical psychological services to children and families referred for urologic conditions, including voiding dysfunction. Dr. SooHoo is trained in evidence-based treatment approaches for children and families across a broad range of behavioral, developmental and mental health concerns. 

Dr. SooHoo received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and her PhD in school psychology from Texas A&M University, where her research and clinical work focused on mental health treatment and help-seeking behaviors with culturally diverse pediatric patients, children and their families. She completed both her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
