Dr. Baskin is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include hemoglobinopathies as well as other red cell disorders, bone marrow failure syndromes, transition of care for adolescent and young adults with genetic blood disorders, as well as pediatric leukemia and lymphoma. She is an active clinical researcher in the area of transition of care for adolescents and young adults with genetic blood disorders and improving access to optimal care. Her team has acquired funding to develop a transition program based on partnerships with adult providers to deliver optimal long-term health care to this population.
