Parent University
Parent University at Children's Hospital Los Angeles provides parents with information on how to best care for their child.
Our classes are:
- Free to attend
- Open to parents, family caregivers and the community
- Taught by health professionals (board-certified/board-eligible), nurses, dietitians, pharmacists and other specialists
- Available in both English and Spanish
CPR
Learn the skills necessary to give CPR to your infant or child. This class is held twice a week.

CVC/PICC Line Class
Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter

G-Tube Class
An interdisciplinary Gastronomy Tube (G-tube) education class for parents, families and caregivers.
Fridays
9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (English)
12:45 p.m.-3:15 p.m. (English w/ Spanish Interpretation)
Space is limited for all classes. Please call 323-361-7698 to reserve your space in class. Walk-ins may not be able to be accommodated.
Other classes, such as dog safety courses, are offered throughout the year. Please call for more details.
