Fetal Cardiology Program Research
The field of fetal cardiology is rapidly evolving due to cutting edge imaging technology and innovative new approaches to fetal therapy. The fetal cardiology program at Children's Hospital Los Angeles is dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge in the areas of prenatal diagnosis, fetal intervention, perinatal management and postnatal care of heart disease. We believe that our research can help forward the science of prenatal diagnosis and improve the care of our patients by increasing our understanding of both congenital heart disease (CHD) and acquired heart disease. Through our direct collaboration with our partners at USC perinatalogy, USC fetal therapy program and the USC School of Engineering, we can achieve novel insights and develop new technologies and therapies.
