Workshop: How to Manage Care for Patients With Challenging Medical Needs

The Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a group of individuals who provide a voice for patients and families at Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). They partner with staff members to help improve the overall experience at CHLA. PFAC will be hosting a workshop for caregivers and patients with challenging medical needs.

Caregivers and patients will learn:

  • Tools and tricks to help organize your medical information.
  • How to understand the medical information that you are given.
  • How to support your or your child’s mental health through community and hospital resources.
  • How to manage your time well when caring for yourself, your child, and family.
