CER Workshop: Advancing Research Integrity in Research Labs

Workshop Synopsis:

This workshop will focus on advancing research excellence by creating a laboratory culture based on the principles of responsible conduct of research. Topics will include: Mentorship and oversight, PI responsibilities, Lab-based RCR training, Record keeping/data storage, Publishing, Collaborations, Laboratory contracts, Example SOPs, what to do when misconduct in the lab is suspected

Objectives:

Understand the best practices for advancing research excellence

Learn the various principles of responsible conduct of research

Target Audience:

All faculty members, clinicians, and postdoctoral trainees involved in biomedical research (basic, translational, and clinical).
