Summary
In this workshop, we will provide an overview about our bioinformatics support, including consultations, bioinformatics software and computing resources that are available to all USC users. Using live-demos and real user questions, we will showcase the use of our bioinformatics software to effectively harvest knowledge and quantified information from tremendous amount of research literature and public genomics data. Such in silico approach would not only enable researchers to quickly find answers to typical research questions, but also help them refine research hypothesis and augment grant proposals with unique insights.
