Workshop Synopsis:

This workshop aims to provide participants with knowledge from senior level faculty who have had successful experience in mentoring K-awardees


  1. Learn the various types of K awards
  2. Understand the eligibility requirements
  3. Determine the significance for the various components of the application.
  4. Identify strategies that work and mistakes to avoid when writing a K application

Target Audience:

All faculty members, clinicians, and postdoctoral trainees involved in biomedical research (basic, translational, and clinical).
