Division of Cardiology

 

Our division cares for children who have heart or blood vessel problems that may not require surgery. We provide state-of-the-art evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with all forms of heart disease. A key element of the hospital's Heart Institute, our Division’s expertise is well-known.

Children are referred to us for care from across the western United Sates and Pacific Rim countries. We offer expertise in all major areas of cardiology, with nationally-recognized subspecialists available to care for your child.

The Division is a key element of a multidisciplinary program that is recognized as a leader in the treatment of heart disease. Fellowship training in cardiology and our participation in multi-center studies are integral aspects of the program’s emphasis on advancing the evaluation and treatment of heart disease in the young.
