CelebriTree Campaign

Celebrity supporters can spread holiday cheer to patients by decorating ornaments for the CelebriTree.

The Story of the CelebriTree

How do you make a tree a CelebriTree? By adding stars, of course!

Each December, a holiday lighting ceremony is held in the Healing Garden to bring holiday cheer to the kids who have to be at the hospital instead of home with their families.

This year, a new tradition showcases the hospital's celebrity supporters. The CelebriTree features ornaments decorated by them and their holiday wishes will be distributed to patients through the GetWell Network. Additionally, the celebrities are encouraged to share pictures and videos of their ornaments on Twitter, using the #celebritree hashtag.

Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony

The annual holiday lighting ceremony is held on the first Tuesday of December and made possible by the support of donors Dan and Martha Cuñado and their family. They are the owners of Vista Professional Outdoor Lighting, a specialty lighting company located in Simi Valley and have provided the lighting and decorations for the event since 2005.

Thank you to all celebrity supporters who contributed their time and talents to the 2011 CelebriTree!
