Who are the Ambassadors?
We are a community of members that give annual financial support for the heart and soul of Children's Hospital Los Angeles. We are a network of generous and inspired friends who believe in the impact of our hospital in the lives of children and families throughout the world. We are passionate supporters that also volunteer to help propel the mission of our wonderful hospital.
In the complex world of pediatric medicine, in which the area of greatest need is constantly changing, our community helps ensure that doctors, researchers, nurses and other caregivers continue to perform the miracles that occur each and every day. Our generosity makes possible essential and diverse programs and services, such as:

Program Highlights
Every member of the Ambassadors Program is offered a unique calendar of events and opportunities that allow us to connect, learn and inspire each other.
Monthly Tours - Sharing the Marion and John E. Anderson Pavilion and other inspirational areas of the hospital.
 Ambassador Speakers Series – Bringing the mission and expertise of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles into the community.
Annual Ambassador Conference – Connect and share with fellow Ambassadors, learn more about the Hospital and plan for the year’s activities.
Annual Ambassador Celebration – Exciting ‘Thon’ Fundraising that culminates in a fun community celebration.
Leadership Roles – Opportunities to lead and inspire fellow Ambassadors as a Co-Chair or Committee Member.
Unique Volunteer Opportunities – ‘Thank Bank’ call events, community outreach, and special events.
Junior Ambassadors
 In 2012, we are offering kids and teens an exciting opportunity to help Children’s Hospital Los Angeles develop meaningful and dynamic experiences that connect them with the mission of the hospital. This year, families will be invited to participate in focus groups to share their ideas and creativity on how to be involved.

Ambassador Family Festival
Give, fundraise or pledge to fundraise $1,000 or more to attend the Ambassador Family Festival. This complimentary fun-filled event for adults and kids of all ages will be a great way to meet others like you who are supporting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in a meaningful way. Ambassadors may bring three guests.
You will receive an invitation if you:
- Are an Ambassador member in 2011
- Give a gift of $1,000 or more to Children's in 2012
- Set a goal to fundraise at least $1,000
How to Join the Ambassador Program
Individuals who annually give and/or fundraise $1,000 to $24,999 in support of Children's Hospital Los Angeles are eligible for membership.

Children's Circle of Care
Ambassadors who give $10,000 and above receive an additional membership in Children's Circle of Care, a roster of leading philanthropists from throughout North America that support the nation's top children's hospitals.
You will also have access to our annual Scientific Symposium, which highlights the discoveries and innovation of our doctors and researchers.
Ambassadors Program Launch
Children's Hospital Los Angeles celebrated the March 1, 2012 launch of its Ambassador Program, a community of 1,200 members that generate awareness and give annual financial support for the very heart and soul of the hospital.
