OverviewThe Division of Adolescent Medicine’s Research and Evaluation Group conducts projects to help programs evaluate the impact of their interventions and services on improving youth programs and developing best practices. We also conduct community needs assessments to better understand and address the service needs of youth and their families. In addition, the group maintains the service information management system, which generates data about service usage and other client information for various programs. Current or Recently Completed Projects:
Adolescent Medicine Information ManagementThe Adolescent Information Management System was developed by the Division to collect service usage information confidentially from multiple community-based youth health and social services programs. The system tracks the unique number of individuals receiving services during the reporting period, as well as the total number of service encounters. ResourcesWe conduct both process and outcome evaluation for programs and services in the Division, as well as for other programs in areas including research and evaluation of ideas, survey creation and revision, focus groups, interviews and IRB applications.
