Todd Molz became a member of the Board of Trustees in March 2011. He serves on the Executive, Governance and Safety, Quality and Service Committees.
Todd is Managing Director and General Counsel at Oaktree Capital Management, L.P., a Los Angeles-based global investment firm, where he is the head of the legal department. He manages all aspects of the firm’s legal activities, including fund formation, acquisitions and other special projects. Prior to joining Oaktree Capital in 2006, he was a partner in the Los Angeles law firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP. Todd previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alfred T. Goodwin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Todd received his BA degree in political science cum laude from Middlebury College in 1994 and his law degree with honors from the University of Chicago Law School. While in Chicago, Todd served on the Law Review, received the John M. Olin Student Fellowship and was a member of the Order of the Coif.
