To apply for LA-HIP (Latino and African-American High School Internship Program, students must:
- Be incoming seniors from a high school listed in our "eligible schools list" below
- Live or attend high school in South or East Los Angeles
- Be in good academic standing
- Demonstrate an interest in science as evidenced by courses taken
- Be committed to rigorous learning
Application Process
Your Grade Point Average (GPA) isn’t the only thing we consider. We look at the whole student.

Applications will be accepted on October 1, 2011 to February 15, 2012.
Letters of recommendation will be accepted from:
