When the Visit Gets Tough, Getting Your Child Through Doctors Appointments
June 10, 2010
Nancy Mansfield’s mother is 80 years old and had her tonsils taken out decades ago, but remembers it like it was yesterday. “Her mother told her that they were going to the circus, and that she was going to be in it,” Mansfield says. Eye Exams: What to Expect
June 1, 2009
"While your family physician or pediatrician can perform some basic parts of the eye exam, if you have any doubts about your child’s vision, you should obtain a comprehensive eye examination from either an ophthalmologist (a medical doctor specializing in diseases and surgeries of the eye) or an optometrist (an eye care provider with a degree in optometry).
