Bibiana Jin Reiser, MD, MS is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology who specializes in Pediatric Cornea, Cataract, and Glaucoma. She has undergone extensive training starting with earning a medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and moving on to complete a residency at the University of California, Irvine and two clinic fellowships, Adult Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the Doheny Eye Institute and Pediatric Cataract, Cornea, and Glaucoma Surgery at the Vision Center at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Reiser has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in major academic journals, teaches residents at the Unversity of Southern California, and is a recipient of the Knights Templar Educational Foundation Grant for her commitment to higher education.
Her expertise in innovation and education in advanced surgical techniques of glaucoma and corneal disease in children has received recognition and grant support by organizations such as the Knights Templar Foundation. She translates her skills to teaching residents cataract surgery at the Doheny Eye Institute. Her academic career started early when she was identified by the Editorial Board of Ophthalmology Times as an Aspiring Writer and recognized during the 2006 annual American Academy of Ophthalmology meeting, and she has had numerous peer-reviewed publications to date. She holds membership in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the National Association of Professional Women, the California Association of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the Max Fine Cornea Society,
