Best Doctors in Southern California

Thirty-two doctors with privileges to practice at our hospital have been listed among the Los Angeles Times Magazine’s “Best Doctors in So Cal” on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2009.

According to the L.A. Times, Best Doctors is the largest continuous peer-to-peer survey of the medical profession ever conducted. Targeted surveys help to identify specialists who are considered by fellow physicians to be the most skilled in their fields and most qualified for reviewing and treating complex medical conditions.

The polling process is anonymous and confidential, qualitative and quantitative. Doctors do not pay to be included in the database, nor are they paid to participate in the survey. The judgment of peers is the determining factor.

Up to 1.5 million evaluations are collected annually. Only 5 percent of the doctors in the country are actually selected for inclusion. Physicians with privileges to practice at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles included in Los Angeles Times Magazine’s “Best Doctors in So Cal” are:
