This inaugural LA Suitcase Party is a fundraiser benefitting the children's charities of Los Angeles.

The Northern Trust Open will be held at the Riviera Country Club from February 13 to 19, 2012. This premier PGA event is a phenomenal way to spend a day or weekend. For every ticket sold, Children's Hospital retains 80% of the purchase price, and the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce Charity Foundation, the official charity of the golf tournament, receives the other 20%. One can purchase a daily grounds ticket for $30; a weekly grounds ticket for $80; or a weekly clubhouse ticket for $275. The Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is a 16-hour course presented by the Emergency Nurses Association, designed to provide the learner with cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills in trauma nursing.  Content is delivered through lectures and skills stations.  Upon successful completion of the course (written and skills exams), each participant will receive a verification card.  Expiration of verification card will occur four years from the first day of the month in which the card was issued.  Only Registered Nurses will be issued certification cards.

The Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) is a 16-hour course presented by the Emergency Nurses Association, designed to provide core level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the pediatric patient.  Content is delivered through lectures and skills stations.  Upon successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a verification card.  Expiration of verification card will occur four years from the first day of the month in which the card was issued.  Only Registered Nurses will be issued certification cards.

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) two-day course is designed for physicians, registered nurses, medical students, paramedics, and respiratory therapists working in acute care hospital settings.  This course teaches the total patient management of the victim of an acute myocardial infarction in crisis during the pre-arrest, cardiac arrest, and post resuscitation phases.  It will introduce the new components of ACLS bases upon the recommendations of the National Conference and Emergency Cardiac Care held by the American Heart Association.
