Dodgers Partner through ThinkCure!
Cancer is one of the largest killers of children in the United States today and the Los Angeles Dodgers are helping us find better treatments and cures. While most cancer research is focused on finding better treatments for adults, our hospital is one of the few organizations with dedicated research for finding better ways to treat children. ThinkCure! was created as the official charity of the Dodgers, to raise awareness and support to find cures for cancers. Funds raised support innovative and collaborative cancer research at our hospital and at City of Hope. Together, our goal is to eradicate cancer. ThinkCure WeekendThe fourth annual ThinkCure Weekend is taking place on June 25th and June 26th, 2011. ThinkCure Weekend is a radiothon, telethon and online auction that takes place at Dodger Stadium and will raise funds for cancer research. Last season, the radio and telethons raised more than $400,000 towards cancer research. To learn more about this event, please visit our blog.
