Thomas M. “Tom” Simms

Thomas “Tom” Simms has been a member of the Board of Trustees since January 2008. He is Vice Chair of the Audit Committee.

Tom is a member of First Families and founding member of Children’s Fund 100.

Tom is a graduate engineer from University of California Santa Barbara who discovered the restaurant business in 1970. Together with partners, he founded Mimi’s Café in 1978 and as its Chairman and CEO, grew Mimi’s into a notable national restaurant chain.
