José Lozano has been a member of the Board of Trustees since 2002. He serves in a leadership position with Children's Hospital Los Angeles/University of Southern California Institute for the Developing Mind. José also serves on the Development Advisory Campaign Cabinet and previously co-chaired the Children's Brain Center Campaign Lead Gifts Committee.
José is former Vice Chairman and Executive Vice President of ImpreMedia. He served as CEO and Publisher of La Opinión from 1986 until 2004. José was instrumental in the formation of ImpreMedia, which merged Los Angeles-based La Opinión with New York's El Diario/La Prensa and brought the nation’s two largest Spanish-language newspapers under one umbrella.
Now a private investor, he is involved in various ventures in media and manufacturing.
