Marion Anderson

Marion Anderson is Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees and has served on the board since 1989. She served as Co-Chair of the Living Proof Campaign, launched in 2003 to raise funds to build the new hospital building and support The Saban Research Institute and other research programs. Under Marion’s leadership, the campaign raised more than $1 billion, making it not only the most successful fundraising effort in Children’s Hospital history, but also the only single fundraising campaign by a freestanding, independent children’s hospital to raise $1 billion.

Marion co-chairs the Executive Committee and serves as a Steering Committee member of the New Hospital Campaign Committee. In addition, she serves on the Finance Committee, Investment Committee, Compensation Committee, Governance Committee, Nominating Committee, Government Relations Committee, Safety, Quality and Service Committee, The Saban Research Institute Committee, Awareness and Visibility Committee, and the Development Advisory Campaign Cabinet.

Marion is a member of First Families and Children's Fund 100. She is Vice Chairman of Topa Equities.
